SPOKANE, Wash. - In the first match on the second day of the Gonzaga University Volleyball Tournament, the University of Washington continued to roll with a 3-0 (30-18, 30-17, 30-19) victory over Boise State University. With the win the Huskies improved to 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in the tournament, while the Broncos fell 3-2 on the year and 1-1 in the tournament.

Leading the way for Washington was Stevie Mussie who finished with a match-high 18 kills, along with a .424 hitting clip, six digs and two block assists. Becky Perry added 11 kills while Christal Morrison chipped in 10. Jessica Swarbrick dominated above the net for UW with eight blocks. Jenna Hagglund dished out a match-high 41 assists as Washington finished with 48 total team kills and a .413 hitting percentage.

Boise State was led by Arlee Tamietti who had nine kills, two digs and two block assists. Mandy Klein passed out 25 assists as the Broncos had 31 total team kills and a .037 attacking percentage.
