HIGH SCHOOL: Played volleyball for coach Jenny Webber at Sequim High earning four varsity letters...earned three straight Olympic League MVP honors...led team to eighth place finish at the Washington 3A volleyball tournament in 2002...also earned four varsity letters in basketball twice earning All-League honors.

Megan Thompson's Collegiate Career
FRESHMAN (2003): Played in 55 games, 19 matches...opened the season splitting time at the setter position with Melissa Schickler until starting setter Emilee Gihring returned to the lineup...finished season with 131 assists including a season-high 19 during a five game win over Mississippi State...recorded double-digit assists in eight matches...moved into a back row rotation spot when Gihring returned finishing season with 33 digs and 13 kills...season-best 7 digs against Mississippi State and 4 kills against UNLV.

SOPHOMORE (2004): Missed season with a medical redshirt after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the spring of 2004.

SOPHOMORE (2005): Played in 23 matches, 59 games...split time with Frances Garcia as a service specialist...also served as the team's back-up setter...had nine service aces including a season-high three against Montana in the Ruby's Invitational...had 23 digs with a season-best four during the season opener at Oregon (9/25).
