HIGH SCHOOL: Played volleyball for coach Maria Collatz at Stockdale High in Bakersfield, Calif., earning four varsity letters...named Southwest Yosemite League Rookie of the Year in 2002 and earned All-League honors all four years...named second-team All-Area as a freshman, sophomore and junior...first-team All-Area as a senior...averaged 7.4 kills per match with a .460 attack percentage during senior season...helped team earn a No. 4 seed in the California Central Section Division I Tournament, losing in CCS quarterfinals...won 2005 Jockey Club Award.

FRESHMAN (2006): Played in 26 matches, 90 games...came out of the gates strong, finishing with double-digit kills in three out of GU's first four matches...closed out the season with 171 kills, 53 digs, 51 blocks, nine service aces and eight assists...had seven double-digit kill contests, including a career-high 17 against North Dakota State (8/26)...collected 14 kills, along with four digs and two blocks against Saint Mary's (11/16)...finished with a career-high six blocks against Idaho (10/3)...had a career-high seven digs versus Loyola Marymount (10/26).
