WCC Championship Men's Tennis Bracket in PDF Format

The Gonzaga University men's tennis team will compete in the West Coast Conference Championship this weekend in Moraga, Calif. The three-day tournament will begin Friday morning at 9 a.m.

Saint Mary's College will host the event this year at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.

The tournament will be held as a dual-match format. The Bulldogs, who are 6-15 overall and 0-3 against WCC foes, are seeded seventh and will meet second-seeded University of San Diego Friday at 1 p.m. The Toreros are currently ranked No. 58 in the nation. The Toreros currently boast a 10-10 record including a 0-2 record against WCC foes.

Gonzaga's seventh seed marks the first time since 1998 that the Zags have earned the spot. GU was also seeded seventh in 1997, after being seeded a program-high sixth in 1996.

Seniors Cooper Fratt and Charles Adams will be competing in their final WCC Championship. Fratt will play No. 5 singles for the Bulldogs, a position in which he went 6-5 at this spring. In total, Fratt posted a 9-11 record in dual match play and a 10-15 overall record this season. The senior will enter the championship looking to continue a hot streak as the senior has won five of his last six singles contests. Adams will compete for Gonzaga at the No. 6 spot, where he played 16 matches this spring, earning a 4-12 record.

Also scheduled to compete for the Bulldogs are junior Stefan Feddersen at No. 1 singles, sophomore Roman Dojcak at No. 2, freshman Conor Feeney at No. 3 and sophomore Zack Radetzky at No. 4. Feddersen paced the Zags as the transfer has posted a 10-8 dual match record, including going 6-5 when playing at the top spot.

The Zags' doubles teams are expected to be Feddersen and Radetzky at No. 1, Feeney and Fratt at No. 2 and Logan Napolsky and Docjak at No. 3.

Top-seeded Pepperdine University enters the championship looking for its 18th straight WCC crown, having claimed each title since 1991 and 38 league titles overall.

The winner of Friday's match between Gonzaga and San Diego will advance in the championship bracket, while the loser will fall into the consolation draw.
