FRESHMAN (2002): Was a football tight end at DeAnza Junior College in Cupertino, Calif., for coach Mike Mitchell...team went 3-7 overall, 1-3 in the Coast Conference.

SOPHOMORE (2003): Was an All-Coast Conference tight end for DeAnza Junior College and head coach Mike Mitchell...team went 4-6 overall, but 3-1 to tie for first with Gavilan, the latter earning the playoff berth.

SOPHOMORE (2004): Transferred to Gonzaga...one of his JC years counts as a soccer redshirt season even though he didn't play the sport...appeared in 16 matches with 15 starts, posting a 4-10-0 record and 1.56 GAA...got his first victory and shutout in 2-0 win at Cal Poly...defeated St. Bonaventure 3-1 in the Diadora Classic hosted by Oregon State, Saint Mary's College at home 2-1 to help Gonzaga snap 12-match West Coast Conference losing streak dating back to 2002 and then blanked Loyola Marymount 1-0 at home for his second shutout of the season...Gonzaga was shutout in 9-of-10 matches he lost.
