Josh Fouts enters his second season as the goalkeepers coach at Gonzaga University. Fouts is no stranger to the position at Gonzaga having starred in goal for three seasons for the Zags from 1996-98.

During his time at Gonzaga, Fouts re-wrote the record book finishing his career with a 0.83 goals against average. He was a three-time All-West Coast Conference second team selection helping Gonzaga to back-to-back WCC co-titles during the 1997 and 1998 seasons.

Fouts ended his career at Gonzaga earning All-WCC Academic honors and being selected the Gonzaga Bulldog Club Senior Male Athlete of the Year. He graduated from GU in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in special education.

After playing for the Spokane Shadow of the United States League Premier Division, Fouts began his professional soccer career with the Boston Bulldogs of the USISL A-League. In 2000 he played for the Carolina Dynamo of the USISL Third-Division League.

A native of Kailua, Hawaii, the 23-year-old (10-28-77) coach is currently working on his masters of education degree.
