High School: Attended St. Mary's High in Berkeley, Calif., playing for head coach Manny Nodar...senior season averaged 22.5 ppg and 11.0 rpg as the Panthers went 29-5, losing to Campbell Hall 74-53 in the CIF Division IV State Championships title game to finish the season 29-5...scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the title-game loss...in the Northern California semifinal he missed his first seven shots and St. Mary's fell behind Valley Christian of San Jose by 17 points, but he finished with 25 points in a 70-56 victory...scored 13 of his 9 points in the third quarter in 66-52 win over Marin Catholic in the title game of the Northern California Division IV championship game for the right to play for the State title...scored 11 points in a 13-3 run that increased St. Mary's lead to 55-30...scored 11 of his game-high 22 points in fourth quarter in 58-50 win over Salesian in the Bay Shore Athletic League title game...junior season averaged 20 ppg, 11 rpg, 4 assists/game and 2 blocks/game...attended the ABCD All-American Camp in Teaneck, NJ, the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp in Richmond, Va., and was selected as the best small forward on the Best in the West team selected by the Long Beach Press-Telegram.

FRESHMAN (2005-06): Played in 31-of-33 games...got a lot of minutes early in the season while Erroll Knight was recovering from a nagging knee injury, then saw more time when Josh Heytvelt was sidelined with a broken ankle four games into the season...played 9 minutes against Connecticut in title game of the EA Sports Maui Invitational, scoring 4 points and grabbing 4 rebounds against the Huskies...averaged 7.6 minutes/game and had one five-game stretch midway through the season where he played double-digit minutes...played season-high 18 minutes against Santa Clara at home...only action in NCAA Tournament was two minutes against Xavier in NCAA First Round, missing his only shot...missed Second Round game against Indiana with flu, although he suited up and sat on bench, and did not play in Sweet Sixteen game against UCLA.

SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Redshirted while recovering from back injury that did not require surgery.
