High School: Played his senior season at Seattle's Juanita High, averaging 24.8 ppg, 12.2 rpg, 1.9 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.6 steals...scored 30 or more points six times as a senior, including a high of 41...named to Washington All-State team, McDonald's All-American, Jordan Classic All-Star and Parade All-American as a senior...attended Bothell High as a junior, averaging 19.7 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 3.6 assists in earning KingCo 4A first-team honors...three notable games in his career were 41 points, 17 rebounds and six blocked shots; 35 points and 21 rebounds, and 20 points with 25 rebounds.

Micah Downs' Collegiate Career

FRESHMAN (2005-06): Attended the University of Kansas, averaging 4.3 points in 13 games...reached double figures three times, including a season-high 13 points against Chaminade in the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational...transferred to Gonzaga at semester break and had to sit out second semester per NCAA transfer rules.

SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Was ineligible the first semester because of NCAA transfer rules, and foot surgery delayed his return to action even more as he was rehabilitating from November surgery to have a stress fracture pinned even though he became eligible on Dec. 16...saw first action at Santa Clara University on Jan. 13, playing 12 minutes, going 2-for-4 from the field and scoring 5 points...took a while to find his shooting touch, going 17-for-43 for 39.5 percent in his first 11 appearances...but found his touch in the final three regular-season games, going 8-for-17 against Portland on his way to career-high 19 points (surpassing his 13 points against Chaminade his freshman season at Kansas), 6-for-12 for 16 points at San Francisco and 8-for-10 for career-high 20 points in regular-season finale at San Diego to help Gonzaga clinch WCC regular-season title...in final three regular-season games went 22-for-39 for 56.4 percent, including 9-for-17 from 3-point range for 52.9 percent...played double-digit minutes all but two of his 14 regular-season appearances...continued his strong play in WCC Tournament...recorded first double-double of his career with 16 points and 10 rebounds against San Diego in semifinals, then came back with another in the title game against Santa Clara with 12 points and 10 boards, 10 rebounds a career high...went 8-for-28 from the field, 1-for-6 from 3-point range, 9-for-17 from the line, grabbed 20 rebounds, had 4 assists, no turnovers and 2 steals in earn All-WCC Tournament honors.
