Laurie Chadwick returns for her fourth season as the assistant coach of the Gonzaga cross country team. Chadwick currently teaches at Mead High School where she is also an assistant coach for gymnastics and track. In 2002 she was voted the National High School Coach of the Year while coaching gymnastics at Lakeside High School. In all Chadwick has coached for more than 17 years at the high school level working with the sports of cross country, gymnastics, track and volleyball. No stranger to the area, Chadwick attended Eastern Washington University where she competed in gymnastics and softball until her graduation in 1984. She later went on to earn her masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University in 1990. Chadwick currently holds a level 1 and 2 certification from USA Track & Field. Chadwick and her husband Ron have a dog, Cassie. |
